one last vacay

Last week we went to Colorado for the week to let the kids get to know their grandparents out there a little better.  We had such a fun time!

 We went to the park where we rode on the train and played in the river

 and on the playground

 We went to DinoRidge and saw the dinosaurs, 

 dug for bones

 chased a grasshopper (the older boys were afraid of!)

 we went on the dinosaur hike

 and went to Canon City to check out the Royal Gorge bridge, while there we 

 rode the carousel 

 looked at the river below, walked across the bridge, went to the petting zoo & the little boys got to go on pony rides

 David learned how to throw a tomahawk

 we went on the cable car that went across the gorge, and the incline railroad

 We came home from Colorado Monday night, emptied our suitcases, repacked them & the car and headed to Disneyland!!

We had such a fun time on vacation!
