You know you are old when you are excited about household appliances!! But, I am super excited about our new dishwasher! We have been without one for about a month, that was the longest month! We ate out so much so I wouldn't have to wash all the dishes it took to cook! But, we got a great deal/sale price on one last weekend, and got to pick it up Tuesday and Keith installed it last night! YEAH!!! I have already done 3 loads of dishes and love it!! It is a push-button dishwasher, but has a childlock on it, as of now... Tommy hasn't figured it out!

You've done 3 loads of dishes since last night??? Have you been saving up waiting for the dishwasher, or did you decide to wash everything you own?? It's beautiful, I'm glad you're back in the modern world again!
You should have used the dishwasher you already had - David! It's cheeper than buying a new one! Chris and his brothers were their family dishwasher all growing up. Although I think the plates would be a little more sanitary with a high tech modern appliance than a 9 yr old boy.
My mother always had a dishwasher when I was growing up, but she never once used it nor did she allow the rest of the family to use it! She said she didn't believe in them!!! And, if we tried to sneak and use it, she would make us take the dishes out and wash them by hand!!!
