Pumpkin Patch

We went to the pumpkin patch last night and left with NO BROKEN BONES!!! Yea us!!
Silly boys! It's so hard to take a picture when your kids are so goofy!

Father/Son FUN on the slide!!

Brothers jumping in the jumpy house!
We had a great time even though it was cold and windy! And picked out a HUGE pumpkin for making a jack-o-lantern!

Halloween Train

This weekend we went to Ely to go on the Haunted Train.
Across the street from our hotel was a park that had a duck pond... the boys had fun feeding the ducks leaves, since we didn't have any bread and the ducks would eat the leaves!

Saturday night we went on the train ride. David enjoyed it, Tommy really liked seeing the train, but wasn't sure he liked riding it until about halfway through. Alot of the kids and adults dress up in costumes for the train. Tommy was very afraid of the "spookies" at first, but started warming up to them towards the end.

Definitely not the best family picture, but what do you expect when a "gorilla" is taking your picture!

After the train ride, we followed our regular yearly tradition and went to Ely's Haunted House... David was not scared by it at all! Tommy, well he didn't make it past the front door, so he and I waited for Keith and David at the end where the refreshments were! Saturday night Tommy spent most of the night having to be held and rocked... he was having nightmares!! Otherwise, we had a great time!

Baby Nate Pics

Baby Nate update

It is about that time!! My blood pressure is starting to get high...as a preventative measure my doctor set me up with a home health program to monitor my blood pressure 3 times a day, and to measure the amount of protein in my urine. My nurse came over yesterday to set everything up and teach me how to do it. Its really a cool thing, the machine talks to me and tells me it is time to do my vitals, and then asks me to stand on the scale and then tells me when to sit in the chair and put the blood pressure cuff on and takes my blood pressure and then tells me when to take the cuff off. Then I have to answer some general health/PIH questions on it. It has a little spot that in the morning after I check my protein levels, kinda like a pregnancy test, that I have to put that in the machine too, and it is all sent wirelessly to my Alere nurse, Nurse Carol who then calls me! I have to track kick counts as well, but that is hard to do considering that I still barely feel baby Nate move. Otherwise things are good! I have an ultrasound today just to check up on him.

I shoot, I shoot

We went shooting yesterday! Tommy has always stayed in the car watching a movie when we go shooting, but yesterday he started saying "I shoot, I shoot, my turn, I shoot" So, we put a pair of earmuffs on him and let him have a turn with the .22 rifle!! It was David's first time shooting the shotgun and he thought it was awesome! We had a fun afternoon shooting!
