First Week of School

Overall David's first week of second grade was good. He only got a clip change to warning twice, both for...you guessed it, talking. He is such a chatter box!! His only real complaint about school this year is he doesn't have enough time to eat his lunch. Hmmm, maybe if he stopped talking so much he could eat more! Lucky us, he came home with his first fundraiser today!

First Day of School

Today was David's first day of 2nd grade. He had a good day, even though it was rainy day schedule. He got the teacher that he really wanted, Mr. Hardy, and has a few of his friends from 1st grade in his class.

Month in Review!

It seems like August flew by! I just realized I only blogged one time! We have had a busy and fun month!

David came home from Idaho.

We had Tommy's 1st birthday party at Mission Hills Park, he had a great time and REALLY enjoyed his cake!!

We went to Disneyland and the beach with Steve and Lidia.
And this week we have been shopping almost every day!! Getting school clothes, shoes, and supplies. Tonight we have back to school night.

Hopefully life gets back to normal next week when school starts!!

1st night as a big boy!

Tommy rolled out of bed one time last night. And of course cried. I went in and held him and hugged him and he fell right back asleep. To prevent any more rolling out of bed, I moved his mattress onto the floor and surrounded it with blankets and pillows in case he rolled off.When he woke up this morning he crawled off his bed and started playing toys!

Big Boy!

Tommy moved out of his crib today and into...his big boy race car bed!!!
He seems to like playing on it. We will see how he does sleeping in it tonight!
